| Partially reassembled sections of large bowls and jars from the midden at the A. C. Saunders site. A careful study of the over 7,000 sherds found that almost 1300 separate vessels had been discarded in the midden. Many of the sherds are large and pristine and suggest that the vessels were purposefully smashed. TARL archives. |
